About Membership

Membership in DAMA-Puget Sound is open to all individuals with an interest in the understanding, development and practice of information and data resource management. DAMA-Puget Sound offers three levels of membership: corporate, individual and academic. Benefits to all members include:

• Notification of monthly meetings
• Members-only online, collaborative discussion group
• Reduced price for monthly meetings and special programs
• Opportunities to build relationships with other DM professionals
• Affiliation with DAMA International and other chapters worldwide
• Discounts for DAMA International publications and events
• Discounts for conferences and courses by DAMA partner organizations
  
• Discounts for professional education training programs, including chapter workshops, TDWI and various certification courses such as Insurance Data Management Association and Certified Business Intelligence Professional 
• Discounts for enterprise and data software solutions
• Job posting forum for your job openings or contractor needs 

Membership rates:

• Academic memberships are free with proof of registration or faculty status in a data management-related program and must be renewed annually.
  

• Individual memberships are $50 and must be renewed annually. 
  

• Corporate memberships are $200 for an unlimited number of employee members. New corporate memberships can be added at any time. Corporate memberships offer these additional benefits:
  

• Coordination of educational activities across multiple data groups in your company
  
• Coordination with DAMA-PS Board of Directors to showcase or share those practices your organization values
• Ability to survey other DAMA-PS members in conjunction with the DAMA-PS Board of Directors
• Opportunites to host DAMA-PS events, such as monthly meetings, seminars or certification courses
