C. Micheal Schwartz, President and Acting Vice-President, Finance


Micheal Schwartz has been active in IT data management for 12+ years. His interest in data management began as a team member and later as lead scientist on grant-funded research and national program evaluations. As a Senior Principal Consultant with Oracle Corporation, he developed expertise in data warehousing, BI and enterprise data architecture. As Corporate Data Architect and Supervisor of the Data Resource Management Unit for Seattle Public Utilities, he contributed to the development of SPU’s corporate data architecture. As an independent contractor he recently worked with Starbucks Corporation providing data profiling and data integration services on the Global Business Systems Solutions project. Micheal is currently serving as an enterprise data warehouse Application Architect with Nordstrom.  Micheal has a BS in Accounting from the University of Montana and a MS and PhD in Sociology from Purdue University with specialization in quantitative social research methods and statistics.

Deborah has been a software consultant in the Pacific Northwest since 1981, with clients like the Bonneville Power Administration, Boeing and Microsoft, and most recently for the largest transparently operated private foundation in the world, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.  Since 1984, Deborah has served in Standards Administration and is persuasive to the IT staff to create modular, reusable code and maintain qualitative, consistent documentation.  She leads efforts in Enterprise Data Governance toward Data Quality, and evangelizes best practices to add value in Information Management.   Deborah's lifetime pursuits are in Art, Computer Science and Business Administration.


Sanjay is President of SOCIAL SOLUTIONS COM INC, whose mission is simplifying Information Technology business integrations. Sanjay has more than more than 20 years of experience in the areas of data management, metadata management, and enterprise architecture.  In previous roles, he served as Senior Developer for Aerospace and Defense product development at Baan ERP system and Chief Information Officer at Wartsila Diesel India.  Sanjay has worked with dozens of Fortune 500 companies worldwide and served as Visiting Faculty for Technical College  for courses in Data Management and Data Quality. He hold an MS in Statistics, MMS in Business and PhD in Management.

Joe is an internationally known speaker, author, thought-leader and consultant on data warehousing, database design and object-oriented (OO) development. He has more than 30 years experience in the successful management and technical development of business, real-time, OO and data warehouse applications for industry and government clients. Joe is the primary designer of the Sybase Industry Warehouse Studio data warehouse product which has been installed all over the world. He served as Director of Data Warehousing for General Motors Corporation. His successful data warehouses include the following industries: banking, health care, credit card, telephone, distribution and life insurance. He is currently Chief BI Solutions Architect at Plaster Group.


Connie has been managing data from the business side for over 20 years.  She is currently Data Steward for Procurement/Plant Maintenance Data at Weyerhaeuser Company, working on business process improvement through better data.  She has served in various capacities on both sides of the thin line between IT and business, including the last 10 years in software project design, training, implementation, and change management.  Connie has a BS in Forestry, MBA in Finance, and certificates in Software Testing and Construction project management, all from the University of Washington.

Dan has worked for local companies such as Associate Grocers, Safeco and now, Community Transit, currently as a Data Program Manager.  He learned early on the importance of data integrity, modeling and maintaining the established structures and processes for those who will one day follow one's work.  He has kept himself updated on the latest methods and technologies through formal education and organizations such as DAMA.  


Deb has almost 20 years of IT experience in the high-tech industry.  She is currently Enterprise Architect at Isilon Systems. Her areas of expertise and interest include enterprise application integration, application development and business intelligence. She holds a BA in History and a certificate in Data Resource Management from the University of Washington.  In addition, she completed CDMP and CBIP certifications courtesy of the prep class and exam proctoring offered by DAMA-PS, and holds certifications in Force.com Development and Salesforce.com Administration. 

Jeffrey Fromm, Vice-President of Marketing


Jeffrey graduated from Eastern Washington University with degrees in Human Resources and Management Information Systems. Jeffrey has six years in IT experience. At his current position at Premera Blue Cross as a Data Warehouse & BI Quality Assurance Analyst, he has learned the business through the data, works directly with a variety customers and IT professionals and develops solutions to data quality issues.  From Information Specialist & Training Coordinator for the Better Business Bureau to Public Relations and Promotions for a Salsa Nightclub, Jeffrey strives to teach, promote and improve whenever the opportunity has presented itself.
