Summary of Event:

Today’s businesses are using data visualization to understand themselves, their customers, and the world more effectively than ever. This session will explore how to be successful using data visualization to improve business practices and enhance cybersecurity. We’ll discuss how to be successful at extracting patterns, visualizing behaviors, and piecing together stories from visualized data to achieve your goals, and how to avoid some of the most common mistakes and pitfalls associated with big data visualization. 

What You Will Learn:

Using examples from hunting APT's, fighting global malware, process improvement, and even data visualization of anti-terrorism efforts, we will explore concepts that increase your chances of success, while avoiding some of the common pitfalls, of big data and analytics


Speaker Profile:

Bryan Hurd is currently Sr. Director, Security Services at Context Relevant, a provider of machine-learning driven Advanced Adversary Intelligence. Bryan previously held positions as the Director of Intelligence of the Microsoft Cybercrime Center, and Director of Innovation for the United States watchlisting system.
